Description: A berry is a small fruit which has pulpy flesh enclosing seeds, such as a blueberry or redcurrant, or with a number of very small sacs clustered together such as a raspberry. The seeds are held in the pulp. Technically tomatoes, bananas and grapes are all berries. Itn many languages, including English, it also means the eggs of shellfish such as the lobster.
