Garganega

Description: A white wine grape grown in the Veneto and spilling over into Fruili as well. It is used predominantly in Soave, the best of which are excellent and in sweet Recioto wine. It is a vigorous variety, much appreciated by growers because of its abundant and consistent output. Its grapes are good not only for vinification but also for consumption as a table fruit.
