Description: A town in Périgord in the Dordogne in south central part of France, producing red, white and rosé wines. Whites may be made from Sauvignon, Sémillon and Muscadelle grapes, sometimes Chenin Blanc, while reds are made from Cabernet-Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Merlot. These are everyday wines, the best among them being Pécharmant which has its own AOC.
