Description: Château-Grillet is a wine-growing AOC and vineyard in the northern Rhône valley near Vienne in Isère, making rare, expensive white wine from the Viognier grape. The single estate of Château Grillet forms the entire appellation, a situation known as a monopole. The wines are similar to those produced at Condrieu.
