Description: "Stew in the style of Madrid." A substantial stew of beef, salt pork, bacon, a capon and chickpeas (US: garbanzo beans), sometimes with meat dumplings. In another pot cabbage, onions and chorizo are stewed together. The broth is then served as a soup course with the chorizo and cabbage next, and then the other meats and chickpeas (US: garbanzo beans).
