Plural: dressed crabs

Description: Because it’s flavour is so good, the edible crab will usually be presented plainly dressed. Dressed crab is crab that has been picked from the shell and claws, the brown and white meat kept separately, and then replaced in the shell and served with a light dressing. In the United Kingdom it is traditionally served with brown bread (US: wheat bread).
