Description: A festival celebrating the "killing of the pig", exuberantly carried out, particularly in Aquila in Abruzzo and Molise on the Feast of Sant'Antonio Abate on 17th January each year. It is said that the feast involves 20 or more courses and I have seen one report of 60.
