Description: Dried form of the Chilaca chilli, Chili Negro, 20-25 cm (8-10") long. It is fairly hot, long, thin and rusty-coloured with a thin skin. It has a slight liquorice flavour and is usually used dried. It is used to give the dark chocolate colour to moles.
